This might not qualify for a "big" Whoop-Whoop
...but, maybe a bit of one?
This was machine quilted sometime the end of January this year.
Cotton Christmas print on the front and a swirly red flannel on the back.
It hung over the upstairs rod iron banister waiting
patiently for whole month to get it's binding.
The binding was machine sewn onto the front and hand-sewn
onto the back. The quilt models my signature curved corners.
They are soo much easier than mitered ones
I'm so lucky to have a super-duper travel friend that
worked on the hand sewing of the binding while riding for many
hours in the car while I drove. It was a total of 22+ hours from
here to So Cal and back.
I will look at these cute Christmas images and the "candy" stripe
binding...with a special fondness. It will remind me of a fun trip
with a great friend!
Quilts are such a wonderful part of life...wonderful deposits in our
Memory Banks. =)

Oh, I remember this sweet fabric! The stripe fabric just adds to the design - gingerbread men and candy canes - just screams Christmas.

The striped binding is wonderful.
The stripe binding really rocks on this quilt, but oh, to have a friend love you enough to do the hand stitching is a true friend! It's a wonderful story to your Christmas quilt, Annie ~
