I'll be trying this. I'll have to take some hand work with me on my trip. I've already stitched a couple of hours today.

I commented yesterday, but I wanted you to know that I DID sew 30 minutes today, and posted a picture on Instagram tagging you and the project. =) It was nice to have the goal to back me up. LOL Thanks for doing this.

I am so excited to join this fun challenge. I DID sew 30 minutes yesterday, but didn't commit until today - because I didn't understand the rules ------------DUH!! Looking forward to seeing how we all do. I plan on getting LOTS done in my process ;-)

I have enough fabric that I could see an Hour a day, and still have plenty left over! I tend to get grumpy if I don't sew every day, so I'm in, for sure!

I'm joining in! I've sewed today and yesterday and tagged with the hashtag - couldn't get your IG handle to come up so I couldn't tag you, though. I'm planning on mentioning it on the blog tomorrow, too!

I'm in! I have a variety of projects, including several that need binding, so I should be able to participate even when I can't get to my machine. Thanks for the motivation.

Prizes are lovely, but the real reward is taking time to sew and seeing progress. I love this challenge.

30 minutes are doable and the prizes are encouraging :)

Sewing 30 minutes a day for me may be difficult but it's good to have a goal to aim for

I did not get any sewing time in today, but I did cut a bunch of pieces for some blocks.... does that count?? Also pressed a bunch of fat quarters, so I can cut and stitch tomorrow.

It is great to set challenges for ourselves to reach attainable goals that we are still happy about. This one is definitely something that can be done if I keep all of my sewing at hand, even hand sewing for longer trips while traveling. Thanks for sharing~

I worked on one block today. It's a 12.5"x12.5" unfinished block for my Winter Soltice quilt. It has 48 pieces in it and I worked on it for over an hour and STILL it isn't totally complete!
The Winter Solstice challenge is making me more precise. THIS challenge is helping me get things done ;-). I sewed six out of seven days this last week! Yipeeee!

Honestly ... this is a fun challenge even thought it is still a challenge because I would start a new project "all the time". I am working on my string blocks, 20 blocks so far :) Thank you for the fun :)

Loving this challenge, because it makes me feel like I can make progress!! I completed another block for the Winter Solstice 'other' challenge today and am now planning on cutting out the checkerboards around some of the blocks' sections, so I can begin to sew them together. This will be a huge quilt when done. Probably 95"x95".
